Cedric Benson has been out of the NFL since suffering a debilitating football injury during the 2012 season. He's apparently trying a comeback; this is the video he's sent to NFL teams to show them he's healthy and worth a tryout.

The video shows the 2005 fourth-overall draft pick working out and running drills at a UT indoor facility—set to music, of course. He appears in reasonable shape, but he is a 31-year-old running back, making this comeback attempt a long shot.

Benson actually racked up a pretty boss career, totaling 6,017 yards and 32 TDs on the ground over seven-plus seasons with the Bears, Bengals, and Packers. It wasn't until Cincinnati gave him the reins that he really shined, putting up three straight 1,000-yard seasons before signing with Green Bay in 2012.

Five games into that season, Benson suffered a Lisfranc sprain that required season-ending surgery, and still hadn't healed by 2013's OTAs. That's when Benson reportedly shifted to "retirement mode"—if you don't count side jobs like DJing in strip clubs. But the lure of football is strong.
