Carl Monday's story of how he got his name needs some investigation of its own. He claims that he took the name from Robert Wagner's character on the 60s TV show, It Takes A Thief. In fact, Wagner's character was named Alexander Mundy, not Monday. Talk about a gotcha! Who's going to get the bottom of this???? A Deaspin reader with a video camera I hope.

Darcy, the shootings took place right outside and down the hill from the j-school building. There's a metal sculpture outside the building with bullet holes still intact. The memorial is right there and where the kids died is now a parking lot. They have lighted pylons as a memorial in the parking lot. Taking up parking spaces. Seriously. That's what I get for having classes there for three straight years.
