I actually went to a gay club once...with my then-girlfriend and now-wife...at the request of my half-brother...who has about 12 kids...because one of his underling's at work was/is gay and was going there to celebrate.

Anyway, I was taken aback. I didn't get to look for the women who accompanied the gay patrons because I was making sure I kept up with my girl. I made her stay very close to my side. And I didn't go into to bathroom.

I just wasn't expecting people in drag and guys dancing on mini-stages while wearing mesh shirts. I have (and will) never go back. More power to the establishment for fulfilling needs...they're just not my needs.

Am I wrong for that? I feel like a slight bigot now.

Back in my video store clerk days, I had a woman come in whose husband made her rent porn for them.
