i'm a 17 year old female and i believe that des headland had every right to punch adam selwood in the face and maybe he should have done it a few more times. A 6 - year old daughter should never be mention and never be sexual debasemented by a male or at least reconised as a person they slept with. Why is it that males get off telling others of their sex life i honestly don't see the point that is 1 thing that should stay behind closed doors. i am disgusted with the way men spread their sex life around like their breakfast. anyway i believe that men should really start respecting women and their rights to have a private life behind closed doors. Honestly guys we don't want to know!!!!!!!

The Rugby World Cup is Sept 7-Oct 20 2007. Deadspin definitely needs some coverage of that. They even showed highlights from matches during Sportscenter from the last World Cup but I will just pay to watch it on the Rugby Channel and mediazone.

And FOXSports used to show a game of the week w/ highlights from the other games I think it was a year or two ago.

In the early days of ESPN they'd show aussie rules all the time including the title game "The Grand Final" LIVE!

Also they have an award for the team that finishes dead-least: The Wodden Spoon.

@BoSox Siobhan: Siobhan - me and some of the boys have gone to Solly's for Aussie Rules (we went and watched Essendon/Fremantle a couple of weeks back). I drank and watched the game until closing, went home, passed out, woke up, and then headed back to watch Australia play England in the cricket. Perfect.

So if you're there and happen to see a bunch of guys caring a little too much about the game, it's probably us. Just walk up and say "which one of you douchebags is Garth?"

I want to point out one thing...as much as rugby, soccer, etc. get ripped as boring (and incidentally, coming the other way from UK, Australia, etc. in regards American Football)- Aussie Rules is the one code of football that fans of other codes can agree is enjoyable to watch.
