I don't know, maybe I'm out of the loop.

I haven't seen or watched anything from Dane Cook since listening to Retaliation. I'm just a little leery when one of these Lord of the Flies type lynchings goes on and everybody acts like they hate someone who is immensely popular.

This post has the most comments today, and I think that's because people who like him at one point are trying to cover up by saying they hate him now.

But maybe he's genuinely not funny anymore, I don't know. But a lot of people bought all those damn CD's(I stole mine from the Internet).

I find it highly unlikely that ALL Deadspin readers all of a sudden hate Dane Cook, meanwhile he's sold more comedy albums then almost anybody ever.

It's like when fans were sucking McGwire's nuts in '98, and now you can't find one person who will admit it.

Neither person would have risen to stardom without the worship of upper middle class suburbanites everywhere.

You know most of you are lying when you say you never found him funny. Now, it's hip to hate him, not like him, so you're on that bandwagon now.

He's made me laugh, and that's all I really want from a comedian, I don't need a "philosophical point" to a joke, as the Slate article demanded.

I just want to laugh, and that being said, I'm sure the FOX commercials will not.

As a Yankee's fan, I love this. For one, the Sox whole World Series win was tainted by the Jimmy Fallon "Fever Pitch" moment that Fox focused on after the clincher.
