But, that's not the reason Chelsea lost. Hirshey is correct... it was a zombie-like performance, with the literal zombie, Grant, looking like a fish out of water.

Unsilent and Superfrankie, I echo your sentiments. I'm depressed about this team. Chelsea is just going through the motions right now. Grant MUST be replaced....somebody has to talk some sense into Roman and convince him that the football dynasty he envisions will be impossible under Grant...if for no other reason than the fact that the players obviously do not have his back.

I thought the team might really step up and have some pride, and fight even harder in the wake of Mourinho's resignation, but yesterday was just pitiful. Sheva is completely lost, Kalou can't keep possession, Ben Haim is a step slower than every player he defends, Joey Cole looked more concerned with drawing blood than scoring, Essien played one of his worst games in a Chelsea shirt, Ferreira, as usual, was like a ghost, and Maka didn't do much other than mis-kick clearances, and tug jerseys. Dark times at the Bridge.
