The law in most areas is on the tenants side if they want to place a dish on either their deck or if need be, all the way up to the roof. And that tree thing never made much sense, because at my last place, I had a huge eucalyptus tree about two feet from my dish and not once did I have a problem with reception.

Listen, I agree that is is complete ass that the NFL Network is not on Time Warner or Comcast. (I think it is an even bigger ass-fuck that people cannot select cable channels on an ala carte basis. The whole tier-programming is a joke. If consumers can order pay channels like HBO and Showtime separately, why not other "basic" cable channels?)
