And yeah, not permanently attaching it is tricky, too; even if you have a clear line-of-site to the satellites, many of us in Manhattan aren't blessed with a balcony or some other place to put a dish without nailing it to the exterior wall. Believe me, I'm familiar with the OTARD rules; there's just no place to put it in most apartments.

No, I mean that there are buildings that are centrally wired for it. And yeah, the clear shot to the southwest is the hard part, as is finding a place to actually attach it (you need a space that you personally control, so it can't go, say, on someone else's fire escape, and if you attach it to the side of the building, they can make you pay to repair it when you move out, which is expensive; it's not impossible, but it's definitely tricky). But there are definitely tons and tons of bars in Manhattan that have DirecTV.

The thing is, there is a six week stretch near the end of the schedule where the boys play Notre Dame, Michigan State, at Miami, and Michigan State again (with, admittedly, the Yoopers thrown in for good measure) which will really tell us a lot. But, by that point, the Freshmen will be well seasoned and the guys should be, knock on wood, healthy.
