My only problem with the officiating was the Pierre Woods non-recovery on the fumble. If the player falls on the ball and has possession, then is touched by the Giants player, the officials are advised (in the rulebook) to whistle the play dead, in order to prevent the kind of wrestling match that actually occured (which is dangerous to the players). That turnover, had it been recorded, could have significantly changed the outcome of the game. But nobody's perfect, and the refs otherwise called a very solid game.

The Giants just had a better gameplan, and the Patriots waited waaaay too long to start going to the dink-and-dunk stuff when it was clear that the slow-developing plays they were calling just weren't working given the Gints pass rush. The Giants' win was earned, not given away.

But really, the Tyree catch???? I mean, seriously. Someone was using a Gameshark or the Stickem cheat code on that one...
