The Pats were flat (did Brady have the flu?), they played out-of-character, they WERE out-coached by a wide margin, the Giants had some (quite a bit of) luck help them out (i don't think that is even debatable - usually luck hangs around with winning, just ask the Pats), the Giants played "harder", and while the Pats just kinda hoped it would work out and hoped to hang on... the Giants took it.
