That's a pretty elaborate scam to fly a kid to Oklahoma and have him meet with fake coaches, especially if it's just to profit a few hundred dollars, according to the "scam" theory. He also talked about talking to Jeff Tedford several times, but now he's just claiming contact with a recruiter named "Kevin Riley" (who just happens to have the same name as Cal's QB), who he says he paid a couple of hundred dollars to. And then when asked by the cops how to get a hold of the guy, the kid says he disposed of the guys contact info so the cops don't even know if the the guy is real. Why would you throw out the phone # of the guy who's supposedly getting you into college, before signing day? Wouldn't the # be in your cell phone? Or maybe his email address on your computer?

I'm calling shenanigans. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think it looks good for this kid.
