RE: 50 top shooting guards of all time... people in the know about basketball from the 1960's and 1970's onward swear that Pete Maravich could hang with Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe, McGrady, Drexler, etc... Not as flashy or as above the rim as some of those, but Maravich would be an All-Star today. He'd be Ginobili only even better. He should be #3.

@UkraineNotWeak: It was the complete opposite of the first half. The Wildcats couldn't buy a bucket until the last two minutes of the first half, and then it was like they couldn't miss.

If a recruit is THAT great, he is probably thinking about a one and done college stint. Indiana would still be a great choice in 08-09, guaranteed minutes and plenty of people watching for a trainwreck.

Thanks for the concern. I'm at work and didn't see the game. Don't have to worry about making the NCAAs. Would've love for them to make it for the experience and the achievement with such a young and inexperience team but wasn't expecting to go more than round or two. Next year, I expect a whole lot more out of this team because we don't lose anybody, gain back two vital, really vital, cogs in our team and add some quality freshmen to the mix.

Currently, I'm on the Cuse forum at Scout dealing with people who want to blame Boeheim for everything.

I understand Nova made 8 of their first 9 from three land in the second half.
