The White Sox radio team is way better again now that Singleton is gone. Stone wasn't sure it was interference (the slide itself was undoubtedly OK as far as how the umps have always called it), but Farmer caught Cabrera's brief grab of the knee with his hand. Frankly what Cabrera did isn't much different than Blake's slide earlier in the game (and quite probably not coincidentally that slide was into Cabrera) though as far as injury potential. Cabrera's play was also really stupid, it cost them a run since it looks like Thome probably would have beaten the throw regardless.

The home plate call was really terrible, he clearly missed him. And Garko was off the bag the previous inning, though at least that one you can say was close enough to be within a reasonable margin of error.

@Burning_River: If you can touch the bag (and Cabrera did) it's never called interference... unless you grab the guy. That wasn't a bad call at all, hence why I only said first base and home plate umps. Shit, even Ozzie postgame said it was the right call, and he didn't argue too much out there when the call was made.

For what it's worth, Cabrera should have been ejected for that move he made at second base. If Asdrubal jumps to make the throw, hooking his leg like that is intent to injure. Instead of calling it like it is I get to listen to that moron Harrelson argue that it wasn't interference for three frigging innings.
