@suntastic: I would think (if we're talking wishes here) that the Suns would have wanted him to shoot at their basket from half court, but that only happens in movies I guess.

Really? Wouldn't Phoenix have wanted the Spurs to shoot a contested 2 or 2 free throws when the Spurs were down by 3? An open 3 for the team who's down by 3 is usually not the goal of the defense.

And trust me, Spurs fans know that Duncan will knock down long jumpers if he is left wide open. He does it from the top of the circle all the time.
