I don't know which is more shocking - that Harrison is allegedly involved, or that he's from Philly. Marv doesn't seem like the knuckle-dragging, grunting and drooling sort.

As for the thuggery angle, I think I'd be more inclined to believe that the Peyton Manning/United Way skit from SNL was legit before even concocting a scenario where MH was involved in a shooting.

And he owns a car wash and a bar? This could all set up nicely as the plot for a Snoop Dogg/Dr. Dre direct-to-dvd movie...

Correction: shooting was at 25/Thompson; the club/bar is at 28th and Cambridge. Inq now claims:

Police sources told the Daily News that the shooting occurred Tuesday night outside a car detail shop Harrison owns at 25th and Thompson streets in North Philadelphia.
Harrison was involved in argument with an unidentified man who was kicked out of Playmakers, the club he owns at 28th and Cambridge streets, about two weeks ago. The man, whose name is not being released, has been badgering Harrison since then, police sources said.

The conflict came to a head Tuesday night, when Harrison and the man were involved in a fistfight near the car detail shop. The physical confrontation ended with six gunshots being fired and the unidentified man suffering a gunshot wound to the hand.

Not a good situation, at all. First off, the alleged victim will say through his mouthpiece (that's talk for his lawyer, in case you're not in 'the know') that Harrison provoked the situation by following him out of the establishment armed with a deadly weapon. Whatever caused the shooting will be blamed on Harrison because of that.

The other party could have pulled out a piece once he retreated to his car, but Harrison will be grilled because whatever the threat that may have been there at the time of the argument in the bar, the guy walked out and attempted to leave the location.

Obviously, the details have to be publicized before the situation can be viewed objectively, but on face value, this doesn't sound good for Harrison.

@Laser Guided: Desert Eagle is a .50 handgun. Caliber is just the measurement of the bullet itself, not the cartridge et al. You're likely thinking of a .50 machine gun, which fires a longer cartridge (AKA a rifle round) as opposed to a shorter pistol cartridge.

I assure you that while a .50 handgun is big, a guy with massive hands...like an NFL WR...would have no problem holding one.
