Na All Animal Rights Activist are moronic and misguided. They are people who will yell at the top of their lungs about free speech, but if you try to make a point they tell you your wrong, and should die, and shouldn't be allowed to speak openly, sorta like being able to have free speech.

Theres a difference between people who feel animals who should have equal rights and activist. Activist are the dicks who violently push their beliefs on everyone and if you think differently you should be put to death or mamed.

To add to this PETA puts more animals to death at their shelter then any other orginization, including local shitty shelters. They have a amazingly high % of putting viable animals to death that can be adopted out. They are worse and more money grubbing then any big company in America, they blackmail many and threaten to expose products if they don't get stock in a company. They've been found out to lie about the effects of many products made by companies that didn't agree to these tactics (see Fabreeze).

They don't care about these horses, they care about making a buck.(No pun intended)

PETA definitely can be extreme, and there are reasonable debates to be had about kill vs. no-kill shelters, but in general I don't see a problem with asking questions about the treatment of horses during these races. That said, I think it's a little overly dramatic to insist that they know that the horse was injured prior to the finish, and that the jockey is responsible for 8 Belles' ultimate fate.
