Most sports mavens considered Steven Jackson's career to be all-but over entering the 2013 season. (The last time we wrote about him here was nearly four years ago.) And yet he's had a resurgence this year on a bad Falcons team, exhibited no more clearly than yesterday when he leveled the Redskins' Josh Wilson en route to a two-touchdown day.
That gives him five touchdowns on the season, which is five more than you expected him to score. (Those of us who picked him up as a flex-spot replacement for Julio Jones are feeling slightly clever.) Thanks to an exclusive video angle acquired by Deadspin, we've been able to establish the source of Jackson's newfound power.
So there you go. [Fox]
