There was a little bit of a snafu on the new scoreboard at Busch Stadium on Wednesday night against Milwaukee. One of the new features is that fans can send text messages to appear on the scoreboard for the low-low price of $2.99. As you might have guessed, this game some fans naughty ideas.

And one of them got through. I don't know what it was (but feel free to help us out, mjd@deadspin.com), but some profane message got onto the scoreboard. There's an automatic screener and a manual screener, and the auto screener didn't catch it. The screener guy did catch it, but not in time, and the profanity got on the board.

I like the idea, but I don't know how much fun it would be with all the screening going on. At the very least, they should have a "Profanity Night," where the entire thing is uncensored. They should do this at every ballpark.

In fact, send in your best hypothetical scoreboard messages for any park in the majors, or hell, any building or arena in sports, and I'll post the best ones later on today. Hit me with 'em. Whether you wanna actually photoshop the scoreboard, or just type it up, it's all good.

Edit: The picture to the right is not an actual picture of the scoreboard... that's one that I doctored up. I have no idea what the actual profanity was that appeared on the scoreboard, though I hope to find out
