We had a grand time at the Book Soup reading last night, once we finally found freaking parking. It has been more than a decade since we lived in Los Angeles. We had kind of forgotten. But the real highlight was the reading going on next door to ours: It included appearances by Eric Roberts, Danny Trejo and Kato Kaelin. L.A. rules.

The reading itself was grand ‚ÄĒ and we're really starting to nail the Rocker accent, if by "nail," you mean "sound exactly like our dad" ‚ÄĒ but the real fun was had afterwards, where we watched the Democrats work themselves into a draw and played some Guitar Hero. Poorly. You can see photos of the whole event thing right here. Next stop: San Francisco! (OK, Alameda.) We're driving there today and will be there in time for the 7:30 p.m. start tonight. Hope to see you there.
