Orioles outfielder Adam Jones had a home run and five RBIs in Sunday’s win over the Red Sox, so he was feeling pretty good. Even Boston’s jeering crowd couldn’t bring him down, as he alluded to in his postgame interview.
When asked about his feelings on Fenway Park at the 1:00 mark, Jones had a funny way of acknowledging the hecklers and their subject matter:
I need to call my mom. Apparently, she’s in Boston, from a few fans’ comments. So, I’m going to call my mom and see if she’s in Boston. I didn’t know, I would love to have dinner with her.
Donnie from Brockton’s just making him stronger.
