Update: Richt says it's "bogus." See the bottom of the post.
Mark Richt can most definitely handle the banter.
During the offseason, Clemson fan Travis wrote a letter to the Georgia coach. Travis's friend says Tom it was good-natured trash talk, badmouthing RB Todd Gurley and including a promise that in the season-opener, the Tigers' speed "would blow those hedges away" (A reference to the privet hedges at Sanford Stadium.) Well, Georgia won, 45-21. Today, Tom sends along this letter he says Travis got in the mail from Richt.

That postscript is a reference to Gurley's school-record 293 all-purpose yards.
Tom says Richt also included a commemorative headline cutout for Travis to treasure forever.
