Though the Bills took down the Lions in Detroit yesterday, not all was beer and skittles. During the game, quarterback Kyle Orton and holder Colton Schmidt complained to officials that someone had shined a laser pointer in their faces. And a dude on Twitter claimed to be the one behind it.
The video at the top (Update: video removed. Watch the Vine instead) shows Orton talking to officials after an incomplete pass in the fourth quarter. Though the FOX commentators wonder if he's complaining about a late hit, the quarterback's gesturing to his face.
The laser pointer was also used on Schmidt on a 50-yard field goal attempt by Dan Carpenter in the third quarter. Carpenter missed the kick, and in the video above, you can see him say something to an official. Per Justin Rogers of MLive:
"It was shining on Colton on the hold," Carpenter said after the Bills' victory Sunday. "As far as that goes, I understand the NFL security is looking into it to see if they can figure anything out."
A Lions fan at the game also noticed it, twice:
Bills coach Doug Marrone told NFL security, and the Lions said they'd look into the claims.
One jabroni on Twitter claimed he was the one pointing a laser in Bills' faces. He deleted his account, but his tweets were screencapped:
There's already a Facebook group trying to ban Marko Beslach from the NFL.
