Well, now that every single ESPN employee has finished hammering Antonio Cromartie, Kansas City's on the clock, for their first pick under Herm Edwards. Trent Green seemed pretty sure that they were going defense earlier. By the way, I'm kind of tired of Chris Berman taking the suspense out of every pick by tipping it off immediately before it happens.
MDS, what's up with the Chiefs?
20. Kansas City Chiefs: Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State
No sarcastic comments here. Hali is a good young man who fled civil war in Liberia as a child and learned to play football after moving to New Jersey with his father. He's the kind of guy everyone wants to root for.
And on that happy note, that's it from me. I want to thank Will Leitch and the Mighty MJD for inviting me to join Deadspin for the day, and I hope you'll read my stuff over at FoxSports.com, where I'll be writing updates for the rest of the weekend, and, of course, my home base at FootballOutsiders.com.
And with the end of the Top 20, we're going to pause for a little bit of a break here. I think I'm actually sweating while blogging. More draft to come in a little bit, though.
