Trailing 3-2 in the seventh, Washington plated three runs

Corey Dickerson led off with a double against Elvis Peguero (2-4) and Alex Call walked. With one out, Thomas lined a single to left, scoring Dickerson, and Call went to second. After the runners advanced on a Keibert Ruiz groundout, Meneses lined a single to center that scored both to make it 5-3

The Brewers took a 3-2 lead when Wiemer homered with one out in the seventh

Milwaukee starter Corbin Burnes gave up two runs on four hits in six innings, striking out five and walking three. Washington starter Jake Irvin allowed two runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings with two strikeouts and two walks
