The 2023 campaign is over for Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Shane McClanahan, who started the season with an 11-1 record and 2.12 ERA

The Rays transferred McClanahan to the 60-day injured list from the 15-day injured list on Saturday. The left-hander last pitched Aug. 2 in a loss to the New York Yankees, leaving after four innings due to forearm tightness

Among the options are Tommy John surgery, flexor surgery and removal of loose bodies

McClanahan also went on the injured list on July 1 with back issues, forcing him to miss the All-Star Game. He was activated July 17

McClanahan, 26, has an 11-2 record and 3.29 ERA with 121 strikeouts in 115 innings. In his final six starts of the season, McClanahan had an 0-1 mark and 7.36 ERA in 25 2/3 innings
