A 35-year-old woman from outside Detroit was arrested last night after she allegedly tried to set fire to an oversized Tampa Bay Lightning flag that was being passed through the Amalie Arena crowd before puck drop of Game 7.

According to the Tampa Tribune, Lena Sinishtaj of Sterling Heights, Mich., was booked on a charge of first-degree arson of an occupied structure.

About 200 people were under the flag when Sinishtaj held a lit lighter to it, Tampa police said. She was able to cause a small burn to the flag, police said.

Puck Daddy went through Sinishtaj’s Twitter feed, and discovered that her day started by getting an autograph from Danny DeKeyser. It ended with her in jail. She’s still being held without bond, according to county records. I wonder if anyone told her that the Red Wings lost.
