Steve Harvey Announces Wrong Winner Of Miss Universe, Chaos Ensues

Steve Harvey, the host of tonight’s Miss Universe pageant, did the one thing that the host of any award show absolutely cannot do: he announced the wrong winner. It was hilarious.

The final two contestants standing were Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines, and Harvey wished them both luck as he opened the envelope and prepared to read the winner. He then mistakenly announced that Miss Colombia was the winner. She proceeded to stand there and blow kisses to the crowd for a few minutes while Ol’ Steve silently contemplated his fuck-up. He finally worked up the courage to slink over to Miss Colombia and announce his mistake. This was just a wonderful bit of live TV.
