Kate Shapiro

Kate Shapiro is a Miami-based writer. She received ​her Master of Fine Arts in fiction and holds a ​bachelor's from Tisch School of the Arts and a ​Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nevada, ​Las Vegas. She won the International Literary ​Seminars & Fence Fiction Contest in 2018. Her fiction ​and poetry can be found in Fence, HAD, X-R-A-Y, ​Litro and Interim. "Kill the Rich" is her debut novel. She is also an accomplished communicator, content ​writer, and digital marketer, working for such clients ​as the National Science Foundation, Morehouse ​College, the National Institutes of Health, and ​Centerfield Media.
