Florida State Wins A Positively Bonkers BCS Championship Game
Florida State looked to be shit out of luck tonight thanks to a taunting penalty after a scoring drive. The Noles quickly bounced back and returned a kickoff to go ahead of Auburn 27-24. The final minutes were an insane back-and-forth, but Florida State hung on to beat Auburn 34-31.
After the return, Auburn took the lead back and Florida State seemed shit out of luck again. With 90 seconds left Tre Mason bowled through the Florida State defense and lumbered 37 yards for the touchdown. The extra point made it a four point game.
Florida State came right back, though. On the second play of the possession, from the 28, Winston and Rashad Greene hooked up for a 50 yard play to flip the field. They took a 3 point lead and survived any late-game Auburn craziness.
