We found BetMGM’s app to be the superior experience compared to the website, which, as we said, can sometimes feel overwhelming. The app, though, has a cleaner and more streamlined design. Below that is a list of all the sports BetMGM offers, and the top leagues within them. We also appreciated how our recently visited sports got a place right at the top of the side menu.

The next games have expanded sections beyond just the spread, total, and moneyline, giving bettors quick access to the most popular bets. Games after that have a more condensed format, which helps to avoid a crowded feel to the section. After a particular type of bet within that league? BetMGM has you covered. All sports sections have tabs at the top with bet types that filter the page. So if you want to see all the anytime goalscorer lines for the upcoming NHL games, it couldn’t be easier.
We did run into the occasional app slowdown. Nothing that impacted our experience heavily, but we noticed busy menus took a couple of extra beats to load. When the difference between profit and loss can be locked in a bet before the odds change, some could find this frustrating.
At BetMGM, there’s a plethora of tried-and-tested payment options at your fingertips. You can deposit/withdraw with VISA and MasterCard debit cards, as well as PayPal and Venmo. But that’ll not all – Play+ Prepaid Cards, Apple Pay, and online bank and wire transfers are all accepted on deposits and withdrawals, too. When researching our BetMGM review, we routinely found over 100 different betting options for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB games. We didn’t find that BetMGM was ever consistently the best, but for NFL bets especially, they were always worth checking out.
In our opinion, BetMGM’s futures odds could be better, especially with the favorites. The top lines for things like the NBA champion often saw the top three teams to have worse odds than at FanDuel, for example. During the playoffs, BetMGM had the Spurs at +400 and the Celtics at +550. Meanwhile, FanDuel had the Celtics at +500 and the Spurs at +550. As a result, we often looked at other top sportsbooks first when making a futures bet.
