Getting free Sweepstakes Coins is easier than most players think. It's the fastest way to play real online casino games for free online with no purchase required.
Top sweepstakes casinos provide free SC to both new and returning players. You can use free Sweep Coins to play games and redeem real cash prizes legally across most of the US.
Sweepstakes Coins are one of the two virtual currencies used at sweepstakes casinos.
Since these platforms don’t offer real money gambling, you play using either Sweepstakes Coins (SC) or Gold Coins (GC). Here’s a quick breakdown:
| Virtual currency | Also known as | How to get it | How to use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sweepstakes Coins | Sweeps Coins, SC, Sweeps Cash | Always given away for free | Used to play casino games in a sweepstakes mode and potentially redeem real-world prizes |
| Gold Coins | GC, Game Coins | Can be purchased or given away for free | Used to play casino games in a standard mode for fun and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, transferred or withdrawn |
Sweeps Coins are always given away for free and can be used to play games that offer a chance to redeem real-world prizes. By law, no purchase is required, which is why both new and existing players regularly receive free Sweeps Coins.
You can then use those Sweeps Coins to play eligible games and redeem prizes like cash, gift cards, crypto, or merchandise, a fair reward for your time spent playing.
There is no standard amount of free Sweepstakes Coins that every casino gives away. The amount depends on the promotion, the casino, and sometimes how long you’ve been playing there.
As a general guide, though, these are the amounts you can typically expect from different types of free Sweeps Coins promotions:
| Free SC Method | Typical Free SC |
|---|---|
| Welcome bonus | 1 – 25+ SC |
| Daily login rewards | 0.2 – 2.5 SC per day |
| Social media giveaways | 1 – 100+ SC |
| Referral bonuses | 1 – 70+ SC |
| Tournaments and races | Varies by prize pool |
| Challenges | Varies by promotion |
| Prize drops | 1 to 100+ SC |
| Mail-in requests | Usually 1–5 SC per request |
These are only general estimates, rather than guaranteed amounts. Sweepstakes casinos frequently change their promotions, and larger tournaments, jackpots, referral campaigns, and special events can offer substantially more Sweeps Coins. Sometimes into the millions of Sweep Coins like we saw during the most recent 2026 FIFA World Cup. Perhaps there will be similar offers for major US holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year in 2026, it’s certainly been the case in previous years so expect plenty more this time around.
If you combine several promotions, it’s possible to collect a meaningful amount of free Sweeps Coins without ever making a purchase.
While it’s always easy to get some Sweeps Cash no deposit promos, some brands are better than others in terms of the quality of their deals. So here are ten of my recommended sweeps casinos along with details about how they work to give you free Sweeps Coins:
Crown Coins hands out plenty of free sweepstakes coins via different promotions. It starts off when you first register an account and get 2 Sweeps Coins for free. This isn’t the best welcome bonus available; it’s middle of the road in fact, but Crown Coins Casino makes up for it in other ways.
For example, the progressive daily login bonus is pretty generous and can go up to 1.5 SC if you remember to log in every day and maintain your streak. Other ways to get free SC include by participating in social media giveaways, sending mail requests, and keeping an eye on the weekly promotions that Crown Coins sends by email.
Crown Coins are one of the most prolific social casinos when it comes to free SC on platforms like Instagram, where there are usually several giveaways each week. For example there’s a giveaway running for the NFL season where you can win a share of 1 Million Free SC just for predicting who wins football matches this season, but they also give away 1 SC just for commenting on the post promoting the competition on Instagram too.
You can use your free SC to play 700+ games from a range of providers. Any SC winnings are subject to 1x playthrough requirements and a 50 SC minimum redemption.
MyPrize.US has one of the strongest welcome bonuses around, awarding 50,000 Gold Coins and 5 Sweeps Cash to new players who sign up to the site. The welcome package doesn’t end there, either, with an optional first purchase deal worth up to 750K Gold Coins and 65 free SC coins available.
Claiming these bonuses will set you up for some awesome gaming sessions, and you’ll be able to tackle some of the 1,000+ games with no issue. These now include MyPrize Originals you won’t find anywhere else too with new Original games released every few weeks.
If you do run low on virtual currency, though, there are plenty of ways to get more. The daily bonus wheel allows you to claim one spin each day, with the potential to hit 100K Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Cash.
This crypto casino supports GC purchases and SC prize redemption using digital coins like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and more.
One feature that really stands out is the 10-tier VIP program, which you are automatically enrolled into when you join. As you play games and use GC and SC, you’ll climb through the tiers and unlock special bonuses, access to exclusive games, and even a VIP host when you hit the top tier.
LoneStar launched in March 2025, and has delivered beyond all promises it had prior to launch. To start off, the site will welcome you with 2 SC and 100,000 Gold Coins completely for free as a new player.
Also, if you click on any of our exclusive links on this page, you will be directed to its site where you will be rewarded with an amazing LoneStar welcome bonus consisting of 500,000 Gold Coins, 105 SC, and 1,000 VIP points when making your first optional purchase.
As far as games go, they only have 500+ games on site at the moment, which is a solid starting point, but, being part of RealPrize, you can already imagine the quality of these games and how quickly this site will grow.
Swintt, Red Tiger, Booming Games and NetEnt are all on board, meaning there are plenty of fan favorites available to play for free.
You can sign up to Stake.us using our exclusive promo code and get an outrageous welcome offer. This will give you 25 Stake Cash that can be used to play promotional games. Stake Cash works the same as Sweeps Coins on most other platforms. Any SC winnings can then be used redeem anything from cryptocurrencies to gift cards and branded merchandise, once you’ve met the 3x playthrough and collected at least 50 SC.
It doesn’t stop there because you will also receive 250,000 Gold Coins to play for fun, as well as 10K GC and 1 SC free daily for life. This is by far one of the most generous daily bonuses available anywhere in 2026.
Once you’ve used up all of that Stake Cash, you can get more just by taking part in the vast range of promos such as the daily races and multiplier challenges. Don’t forget that Stake.us also has a multi-tiered VIP club that can give you daily, weekly and monthly bonuses as well as increased rakeback and even your own account manager. You get double VIP points for playing their “Only on Stake” games which can be a helpful way to climb through the tiers.
All in all, there are plenty of ways you can get free Sweeps Coins at Stake.us. Look out for special rewards when there’s something to celebrate. You’ll usually find tons of free SC available across the site and their social media handles. We’ve already seen giveaways where prizes as big as 400 SC have been given out just for replying to an X post for example.
McLuck launched in late 2023, making it one of the more established free SC sites. The welcome package is particularly generous for free Sweepstakes Coins, offering 2.5 SC when you register, along with 7,500 Gold Coins. As a new player, you can also claim the optional first Gold Coin bundle deal containing up to 500 free SC spins, plus 120K GC, and an extra 60 free SC when making your first purchase.
This sweepstakes casino is very mobile-friendly, boasting both McLuck iOS and Android apps to download. If you play on the move, this is particularly useful as you can enjoy the 1,700+ games and claim bonuses like the daily login reward worth up to 2,500 GC and 2.5 SC from anywhere.
Other rewards include the 8-tier VIP program packed full of perks and benefits like tailored bonuses, coin boosts, and level up rewards, to mail-in requests offering 4 free SC. This is by far one of the best mail in requests available right now.
For players that enjoy jackpot games, McLuck really excels here. Just one spin on any game could trigger a loaded jackpot with up to 200 million GC or 100K SC.
Keep a check on the McLuck social media channels, too, as not only can you enter giveaways for SC prizes, but you can hear about the latest tournaments and challenges. We’ve seen some tournaments listed with prize pools hitting 6,000,000 GC and 3,000 SC.
RealPrize rewards new players with 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins upon registration. It’s a decent bonus, and followed up with a cracking first purchase deal on Gold Coins – up to 625K GC, 125 free SC, and 1,250 VIP Points.
I was glad to see consistent ongoing bonuses, too, such as the daily login rewards that add 0.3 SC and 5K GC each day you log in.
There’s also daily challenges that add free GC and SC to your virtual balance, social media giveaways that reward engagement with the brand, and referral programs if you bring your friends onboard. The latter can get you up to 200K GC and 70 free SC if your referral makes a qualifying GC purchase.
While the game selection at RealPrize could be bigger (I counted 700+ games), the selection is filled with quality titles rather than fillers.
If you play consistently, you’ll have a chance to move up through the VIP program. There are 7 tiers to climb, starting from Bronze and working all the way up to Black. Expect birthday gifts, access to live chat support, and premium content.
Backed by B2Services (same folks behind McLuck and PlayFame), MegaBonanza is a free SC casino that comes out swinging with a solid welcome: 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins just for signing up, plus another 50,000 GC and 25 SC if you grab their $9.99 purchase offer.
They’ve packed in over 1,200 games from heavy hitters like BGaming, Evoplay, and Relax Gaming. But where the site really stands out is the free progressive jackpots.
You’ve got hourly drops worth 100 SC, daily ones hitting 2,500 SC, and a mega jackpot that can land you 50,000 SC.
Fridays are stacked with tournaments that rain down 10 million GC and 5,000 SC, while Thursdays are all about Playson as 12 races run throughout the day if you’re feeling competitive.
When it’s time to turn SC into real money prizes, redemptions start at just 10 SC for gift cards or 75 SC if you want cash. Redemptions are pretty quick too, usually landing in 1 – 5 business days. Just keep in mind there’s a 1x SC playthrough before you can redeem, which is standard for most social casinos in 2026.
AceBet Casino is a well-curated free SC casino that welcomes newcomers with 5K Gold Coins, 1 SC extra, completely for free. Create and verify your account, and your free coins will be credited immediately. They often give away free coins via their social media handles.
This free sweeps casino has one of the most varied gaming selections, as there are about 2,200+ casino-style games on offer. This site accepts redemptions through 12+ different payment methods, including Bitcoin.
The first thing that caught my eye about Hello Millions, apart from the brightly colored comic book style graphics, was the excellent welcome bonus. Right away you can get hold of 15,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweepstakes Coins for free when you sign up.
You’ll also get access to the first Gold Coin purchase deal (optional, of course) with up to 120K GC, 60 free SC, and the chance to grab 500 free SC coins from a wheel spin.
If you’re keen to grab more free virtual currency, the daily login reward starts at 1,500 GC and 0.2 SC each day you log in, and gets progressively bigger if you keep up your login streak.
Hello Millions boasts over 1,500 games, ranging from slots to live dealer titles. I was keen to find more ways to grab some more free SC coins, and I came across a loyalty lounge with the potential to claim special bonuses if I climbed the tiers.
There’s also referral rewards, mail-in requests for 4 free SC, social media giveaways on Facebook, X, and Instagram, and daily prize drops with jackpot prizes reaching up to 150,000 SC.
All new players who join will get 100,000 Gold Coins plus 2 free SC Casino Click no-deposit offer upon creating a new account.
There is also an optional first purchase offer at Casino Click that gives you 200,000 GC + 20 free SC for $9.99, with no promo code required.
You can find a great collection of high-quality games from top software studios at Casino.click. Another great perk to mention that this sweepstakes casino offer is that it supports crypto redemptions for fast redemptions.
So in summary, most platforms offer 1 to 25 free SC at sign-up as a no deposit welcome bonus for new users only. So far, Stake.us has one of the largest free sign-up amounts of about 25 Stake Cash, while Crown Coins, MyPrize.us, McLuck, RealPrize, and Hello Millions provide not only a no deposit free SC welcome bonus but also free daily SC offers.
All sweeps casinos will take great delight in coming up with ever more creative ways to give you your free SC coins with no deposits. After all, these sites have to let you play for free, and they don’t have the capacity to take your deposits. So here are just some of the key ways that you can pick up your free Sweeps Coins:
These are special offers that are only available for new customers who have never signed up to the sweepstakes casino before. So if you create your first account, you should be given lots of free Sweeps Coins to play with. This is one of the main ways a brand can attract players so they tend to be quite generous.
Think of this as a Sweeps Coins no deposit bonus that you can get on a daily basis. All you have to do is to log into your sweepstakes casino account every 24 hours and you’ll get a bumper dose of free credit. These daily casino bonuses are designed to encourage player loyalty.
All sweeps casinos will give you the option to purchase a variety of Gold Coins packages should you somehow run out of credit. The good news here is that some of these packages will give you a bonus amount of free Sweeps Coins to play with as part of the deal.
Here you’ll just have to follow your chosen sweeps casino somewhere like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X (Twitter) and carry out simple tasks such as sharing posts or answering trivia questions, and you’ll get lots of free coins as a reward.
You can often get free coins just by signing up to a sweepstakes casino’s newsletter or agreeing to get extra notifications via email or SMS.
Here you will just have to get your friend to sign up to the sweeps casino using your referral code and then you will be given some free Sweeps Coins as a reward. Just note that your friend may be required to purchase a Gold Coins package before you get your free coins.
This is where you have to take part in leaderboard challenges, and if you manage to play more than anyone else on that day or week, you will be rewarded with a share of a prize pool of free credit.
These deals come in a variety of different forms but you will usually have to do something like land a specific multiplier on a select game, and doing so could see you being given a bonus amount of Sweepstakes Coins.
These are a common feature at sweeps casinos, and you can pick up a variety of rewards for the more gameplay that you put in. They tend to be multi-tiered deals where you climb through the different levels and get progressively better perks for doing so. Such perks usually include free coins bonuses, free spins on slots, rakeback, enhanced customer care, and so on.
This is an interesting quirk of all legit sweeps casinos, and it basically allows you to get free Sweeps Coins just by sending in a postal request. There are usually some specific details about how you have to do this, but they can be a good way of ensuring that you can keep playing for free.
This might be obvious, but if you play a casino game with Sweepstakes Coins and win that game, you will then win more Sweepstakes Coins. Perhaps the most enjoyable way to pick up more of this virtual currency is winning on the games or slots.
With hundreds of casinos available across the US, players have a huge variety of free sweeps coins promotions to choose from. Our team is constantly on the lookout for the best offers and tests them first-hand, so they’re fully validated and we’ll also make clear the time frame for claiming them. Some offers will run for weeks or months at a time, others might only be open for 24 hours.
From social media giveaways and new feature launches to leaderboards and tournaments, there are hundreds of thousands of free SC available to players every week. Here’s a look at some of the latest offers and how to claim them.
Pennsylvania lawmakers are considering a broad gaming measure that would not only establish a regulatory framework for skill-game machines but …
While Sweeps Coins are a lot of fun, they do tend to include some important small print that determines how you use them and how you can redeem those real-world prizes. So here are the key things to look out for when looking for new free Sweeps Coins at sweepstakes casinos.
These determine how many times you have to play through your Sweepstakes Coins before you can redeem any prizes. You will usually have to play through your Sweeps Coins at least once, but this amount may rise up to 3 times at some sweeps casinos like Stake.us. 1x is usually the benchmark when it comes to most sites though.
You may have to win at least 100 Sweeps Coins before you can redeem a cash prize, although this amount might be less for other prizes such as gift cards and merchandise. Some casinos like MegaBonanza offer redemptions from as little as 10 SC for gift cards. Crypto redemptions usually sit somewhere in the middle, at 50 SC for example with sites like Stake.us.
Cash and real money prizes such as gift cards are usually redeemed at a ratio of one Sweeps Coin for one US dollar.
Sweeps Coins usually expire unless spent within a set time period. For example, you might find that your Sweeps Coins expire if you haven’t checked into your sweeps casino account in the last 60 days. This is unlikely to be an issue for players that are checking in regularly, but keep it in mind if you are likely to spend an extended period of time in a different state for example, especially if it’s one such as California or New York where SC aren’t offered any more.
Now that you have got your free Sweeps Coins, you will be ready to put them into use. So here are some tips I’ve learned from my time at sweepstakes casinos:
Chances are that you’ll have been given some Gold Coins either through a welcome offer or a daily login bonus. So be sure to use these ahead of your Sweeps Coins as a kind of practice run. After all, Gold Coins can’t be redeemed for any prizes, so any losses incurred shouldn’t hurt too much and they’re more widely available.
OK so Sweeps Coins don’t have any actual cash value, but that’s no excuse to get careless in how you play even when claiming a sweepstakes promo code of some sort. I’d recommend setting a budget like it was your own money and then playing responsibly. This way you’ll get much more gameplay out of your free Sweeps Coins and you’ll avoid running the risk of chasing after your losses.
Most sweeps casinos will contain hundreds, if not thousands, of games and these all pay out in different amounts. It’s common for a slot game to have a return to player percentage (RTP) of between 95% and 97% and even the slightest difference can have a big impact on the kinds of returns you can expect to make. So do your research and play those games with the lowest house edge. This will give you the best chance if you play free online slots for real money prizes, too.
It’s usually a good idea to keep your attention on just a handful of games rather than trying to play everything within sight. Perfect for figuring out all of the key features and discovering any bonus rounds and how to maximise any potential returns if there’s a skill element involved. This includes games like blackjack or fish shooter games which aren’t completely based on random number generation.
The amount of free Sweepstakes Coins you can collect without spending money depends heavily on the casino and the promotions available.
A new player might receive a small welcome bonus, while regular players can build up more SC through daily rewards, giveaways, tournaments, referrals, and mail-in requests.
| Free SC Method | Typical Free SC |
|---|---|
| Welcome bonus | 1 – 25+ SC |
| Daily login rewards | 0.2 – 2.5 SC per day |
| Social media giveaways | 1 – 100+ SC |
| Referral bonuses | 1 – 70+ SC |
| Tournaments and races | Varies by prize pool |
| Challenges | Varies by promotion |
| Prize drops | 1 to 100+ SC |
| Mail-in requests | Usually 1–5 SC per request |
These aren’t fixed amounts, and some promotions can be substantially more generous. For example, Stake.us currently offers 1 SC daily as part of its ongoing rewards, while some social media competitions and tournaments can offer much larger prizes. These can be seasonal in nature and run for a few days or up to a month in some cases.
The biggest advantage is that you don’t necessarily have to rely on one promotion. You can combine a no-purchase welcome offer with daily bonuses, giveaways, referrals and other eligible promotions to build your SC balance over time, all without ever purchasing a coin package.
Just remember that every offer comes with its own terms. Check the minimum redemption amount, playthrough requirement, expiry date and eligibility rules before counting promotional SC as money you can redeem for a real money prize.
Free Sweepstakes Coins aren’t available to everyone across the US. State laws have changed significantly during 2025 and 2026, and individual sweepstakes casinos can also maintain their own restricted-state lists.
As of September 2026, states including California, Connecticut, Indiana, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, New York and Tennessee have enacted restrictions or bans affecting sweepstakes casinos, while Washington, Michigan and Idaho have long-standing restrictions on sweepstakes platforms offering redeemable prizes. Louisiana and Oklahoma have also introduced restrictions taking effect in 2026.

Not only does this virtual currency perform an important legal function for these sweeps casinos, but they also work to edge you closer to redeeming some real-world prizes. So be sure to sign up to one of my recommended sweeps casinos and put those free SC coins to good use.
Sweepstakes casinos will give you SC coins for carrying out a variety of functions such as signing up for the first time, logging into your account every day and even playing certain games. Plus you can even send in a postal request, otherwise known as Alternative Method of Entry to get more free SC, which is a must-have for sweepstakes casinos to operate legally in the US. Daily casino bonuses are definitely the easiest to claim and they’re available every 24 hours.
No, this free Sweeps Cash is virtual currency that has no cash value outside of the sweepstakes casino. However, you may be able to redeem this virtual currency for a variety of real prizes at a value of one Sweeps Coin for one US dollar.
In terms of promotions, Crown Coins might have the edge overall, but other sites like LoneStar Casino, MyPrize,us and Stake.us are all worth a look when it comes to offers for existing customers. You’ll find regular giveaways across various channels including social media, podcasts, YouTube, newsletters and directly on site too.
No, you cannot directly win money at sweepstakes casinos. Instead, you can play the games with free Sweepstakes Coins and if you win enough, you can then redeem those Sweepstakes Coins for cash prizes. This way you can play free slots online with real world prizes if you’re successful.
This guide has a good shortlist of sweepstakes casinos that can be counted on to serve up plenty of sweeps promo codes. Plus our resource has over 244 more sweeps casinos to check out, including established and new sweepstakes casinos.
Yes. Most promo codes are only valid for a limited time and may have additional terms, such as being available only to new players or requiring activation before a certain date. It’s always worth checking the expiry date before trying to redeem a code to avoid disappointment.
The best places to find new promo codes are sweepstakes casino newsletters, official social media accounts, Discord servers and promotional emails. You might also find them via push notifications on site when you’re logged in. We also keep this page updated with the latest verified offers from leading sweepstakes casinos.
Usually not at the same time. Most sweepstakes casinos only allow one promotional code or welcome offer per account, although you can often claim future seasonal or existing-player promotions after using your first code. Other instances may be available if making a specific coin package purchase where a promo code is needed, that will usually entitle you to more SC as part of the deal.
All sweepstakes casinos offer a free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE), allowing eligible players to mail in a handwritten request for free Sweeps Coins without making a purchase, usually between 1 and 5 SC per request. Each casino has its own rules and formatting requirements, so follow the instructions carefully to ensure your request is valid and ends up in your account being credited accordingly.
No. Sweepstakes casinos generally allow only one account per person and household. Creating multiple accounts to claim additional bonuses or promo codes is likely to violate the site’s terms and could result in your account being suspended or your prizes being forfeited.
