Wladimir Klitschko will exercise his right to a rematch after losing his heavyweight titles to Tyson Fury last weekend. It may not be a good fight, but it will be the first heavyweight fight in a while that people will look forward to.
Wladimir Klitschko’s nearly ten-year-long reign as boxing’s heavyweight champion came to an end today as British fighter and 3-1 underdog Tyson Fury defeated the Ukranian in Düsseldorf by unanimous decision. It was Klitschko’s first loss since 2004.
Here is video of the perfoming of national anthems before today’s Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight title fight. It is by something we were told by Michael Buffer is named “The Dark Center.” We’re all very confused by this.
Tyson Fury, a British boxer who is set to get his face punched off by Wladimir Klitschko, thought it would be cool to dress up like Batman for the pre-fight press conference and wrassle with another guy who dressed up like the Joker.
While professional boxing unquestionably often involves two fighters hitting each other as hard as possible in order to win their match, it also often puts business first.
