American Hero Barry Switzer Saved A Puppy From A Hot Car

What's NFL coach Barry Switzer up to these days? Oh nothing, just saving adorable animals from certain death.

Above is an interview clip from this morning's episode of NFL AM on the NFL Network, and it features Barry Switzer telling a story about how he saved a Rottweiler puppy that was trapped inside of a hot car. Not only did Switzer keep an eye on the puppy until its owners returned, he also bought it on the spot, took it to get all its shots at the vet, and then gifted it to one of his friends. "I'm not sayin' I saved the dog's life," Switzer concludes. "I just made it have a better life."
