Another Case Of Discrimination Against The Large-Breasted
It's the rejected first draft of the script to Million Dollar Baby: Woman is banned from boxing due to her breast implants.
Sarah Blewden is a former model who wants to become the first female boxer to represent Great Britain in the Olympics. But dreams like these die hard: Even if the IOC were to include women's boxing in the 2012 London Games, Blewdin would not be allowed to partcipate, as least the way thing stand now.
The Amateur Boxing Association of England (ABAE) will not let her box competitively because of her breast implants.
"My surgeon said they make me no more vulnerable than any other woman," Blewdin said. "They are not enormous ones — they are in proportion. They are gel implants and not liquid so they won't burst." She added: "Women haven't been allowed to box for that long and this is an obstacle I want to get over so other women like me won't have the same problem."
The ABAE said that it had hoped to develop a protective breast plate to allow women like Miss Blewden to box competitively, but research funding had been withdrawn.
So I'm wondering if we can skip all of this preliminary stuff and just get to the part of her career where she sells personalized grills?
