Artest Requests Trade
This image was lost some time after publication. Saying that he "causes too many problems" in Indiana, Ron Artest has asked Pacers management to trade him. New York is his stated preference.
Would it matter? I'm sorry, Ron, but no matter what city you're in... crazy is crazy. The Pacers are a stable organization with good guys in place, and you can't fit in there? And instead, you want to be shipped to a team with a disciplinarian head coach, a selfish shoot-first point guard (two of them, in fact), a moody center with George Wendt's heart and a fanbase with a propensity to boo? Who's helping you make career decisions, Ron? Did you hire Drew Rosenhaus?
More on this in the coming days, I'm sure.
