Austrian telly chiefs have pulled a series of adverts showing people imitating Zinedine Zidane's infamous 2006 World Cup final attack on Marco Materazzi, claiming "they convey that violence can be used to solve conflicts".

The Spoiler finds it a little unlikely anyone will decide to adopt a flying head-butt as their problem-solver-of-choice, considering Zidane's ‘conflict' ended up being 'solved' by picking up a red card and ending his career in disgrace (real world terms: arrest, jail), but we don't make the rules. Not in Austria, anyway.
