Sports wagering integrity monitoring firm Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) has inked a deal that is to see its proprietary Integrity Monitoring dashboard, ProhiBet solution, and Bad Actor technologies utilized by the PROLINE platform from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
IC360 specializes in regulatory technology that tracks live wagering data to help ensure market compliance and integrity protection. The Las Vegas-headquartered firm supplies partners with real-time market surveillance, data monitoring, and software to detect suspicious wagering activity, prevent insider trading, and block prohibited insiders such as athletes and coaches from betting.
OLG is a Crown corporation responsible for operating online and land-based casinos, lottery games, and sports wagering across Ontario. Its PROLINE platform was introduced at retail venues as a parlay-only lottery game over 30 years ago before being expanded to encompass a digital sportsbook enabling single-game sports wagering across mobile and online channels.
PROLINE today operates as an omnichannel gaming ecosystem across nearly 10,000 brick-and-mortar locations spread across Ontario while its online interface provides dynamic odds, live in-play markets, and digital bet-building features backed by independent integrity monitoring. OLG Digital Sports and iSports Product Director Greg Sindall said the deal with IC360 is all part of his organization’s commitment to providing customers with ‘world-class gaming and entertainment experiences’ in an ecosystem that is protected, reliable, and equitable.
Under the terms of the new agreement, OLG is to utilize IC360’s Integrity Monitoring innovation to aggregate global odds and anonymized wagering activity alongside referee and official data feeds into a unified dashboard. This will allow the PROLINE sports betting platform to expand its ability to detect suspicious patterns and protect the province’s wagering market.
The Integrity Monitoring advance from IC360 establishes ‘normal’ wagering baselines and uses real-time AI to cross-reference global betting lines with external news, injury updates, and social media data to flag potential abnormal price shifts or insider activity. When suspicious anomalies are caught by these algorithmic defense layers, expert analysts immediately verify the threat using wider market data and send an alert to a unified dashboard so operators may halt betting and investigate.
In addition, the PROLINE platform from OLG is to incorporate IC360’s ProhiBet solution to help prevent athletes, coaches, officials, and league administrators from wagering on events in which they may have a conflict of interest. This advance is powered by one-way cryptographic hashing architecture and helps operators to cross-reference active patrons against prohibited bettor databases.
“Maintaining the integrity of our PROLINE gaming platform is always paramount,” said Sindall. “IC360’s robust monitoring and alert systems provide real-time feedback to ensure that our business and our players are protected.”
As if this wasn’t enough, the PROLINE platform from OLG is to additionally adopt IC360’s Bad Actor technologies to combat threats, fraud, and harassment directed at athletes, coaches, referees, and sports organizations. Through this integration, the operator will receive alerts from leagues, teams, and governing bodies flagging offenders who could be targeting stakeholders either online or in person.
IC360 Chief Commercial Officer Ali Schempp proclaimed his firm’s Bad Actor system is all the more effective due to the fact it is being powered via a strategic collaboration with Signify, the London-headquartered online threat intelligence and social media protection specialist.
“Partnering with OLG marks a monumental milestone as we expand our footprint across Ontario,” said Schempp. “As the first government agency in the province to adopt our Bad Actor technology, OLG is proving itself as a true first mover, demonstrating how Crown corporations can proactively protect sports participants and elevate market oversight. We are thrilled to welcome OLG into the ProhiBet and Bad Actor ecosystems.”
