I have had some serious fun while building my latest ComeOn review. This is largely because a busy sports lobby awaits; however, the fun certainly doesn’t end there.
The betting odds here are just as good as you are going to find anywhere else, the customer support is responsive and available around the clock, and you can even access all of this through a dedicated app. Sounds like your sort of thing? I’m glad to hear it – let’s get started.
Before I get into the thick of this one, I want to first confirm the legitimacy of ComeOn and provide you with a little glimpse into my first experience.
To begin, you’ll land on a pretty basic site that gives you an easy way to log in or open an account. Just underneath, you’ll also find quick links to visit pages focused on the shop and support.
A quick scroll to the bottom of the page was all it took for me to confirm that ComeOn was legal to operate, thanks to a licence from iGaming Ontario. I also found ComeOn had won the following awards:
Safe to say, I was already suitably impressed. Plus, it also didn’t take me too long to discover that the site was encrypted by the latest technology and offered a range of safer gambling tools – I’d say that’s the “is ComeOn legit” box ticked off the list.
If I was being really picky (which I am), the loading screen that appears while switching between certain areas of the site does slow the pace of things down. I wouldn’t say it is enough for me to consider looking elsewhere – and it certainly doesn’t affect the safety or security of the site – but it does make the overall experience seem much slower than many other Ontario online sportsbooks.
After some pretty positive first impressions, I wasted little time becoming a member. ComeOn has made this as streamlined as possible, meaning you can soon dive into the action. To help get you started, I’ve created this step-by-step guide.
Now you know how to set up your account, it is time to fund the experience. ComeOn makes things as straightforward as possible, so I’ve tried to stick with that theme by relaying all you need to know in this convenient table.
| Payment Option | Min. Deposit | Min. Withdrawal | Withdrawal Times |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | $10 | $20 | Up to 7 days |
| Mastercard | $10 | $20 | Up to 7 days |
| Interac | $10 | $20 | 48 hours |
| MuchBetter | $10 | $20 | 24 hours |
It is also worth noting that you won’t find any limits in place for withdrawals; however, you may find that you are charged a fee if you withdraw more than twice within one month. Currently, you will get two free withdrawals and attract a fee of $3.20 per withdrawal thereafter.
To turn your screen into a sports betting lobby, you can simply click on the ‘Sports’ tab at the top of the screen. From here, you’ll find popular sports are displayed on the left; however, you can soon filter through an A-Z by clicking browse. Although not comprehensive, this list covers a few of the major sports you can expect to find in June.
The odds at ComeOn are pretty competitive, especially those found in-play. I also liked that these odds are updated in real-time, allowing you to understand the true momentum of things. Although lacking live streams, you don’t have to rely on the movement of the odds alone. You can also check out the 2D animations to help build your live bets.
When it comes to building bets, you simply need to click on the odds associated with your chosen markets. Whether pre-match or in-play, you’ll find that 1X2s are displayed initially. However, a quick click on your chosen game will soon open up the doors to a number of additional markers. During my latest review of ComeOn Ontario, I found upwards of 100 markets on major league sports.
Naturally, I hope that you aren’t going to come across too many issues while playing at ComeOn in Ontario. However, if you do, you’ll be pleased to hear that the support team is reliable and responsive.
As with many top sites, you’ll find that live chat is available. However, you will initially be greeted by Evangelia – an AI bot. You can ask questions to get things started, receiving answers within a few short seconds. That said, these answers don’t always cover what you’re after.
If this is the case, you can simply ask to be connected to an agent. After providing your details, you’ll then be linked. I found that answers from agents are incredibly thorough and can soon help you get back on track. You can also request an email transcript to keep a log of all that has been discussed. Alternatively, you can always send an email to the team and attach any screenshots as evidence. Although this will take slightly longer to reach a resolution, you won’t be waiting any more than 24 hours.
ComeOn is accessible through a dedicated betting app throughout Ontario; however, the site is also available through your mobile browser. With this, you can decide whether the convenience of the app is worthwhile or whether you’d rather save space on your device.
Either way, you’ll be met with the same great perks that have already been detailed in my ComeOn review. The only difference revolves around the physical layout and design. Sure, you’ll still find that you can still visit the sportsbook with one single click (or tap in the case), but this is now located at the bottom of the screen.
Across the top, you’ll then find that various sports are now available, and in the top left-hand corner, you’ll find a burger menu that opens up the doors to all other areas of the site. I found that the mobile app is incredibly quick to load, easy to navigate, and you can even make your bets in full-screen mode – sounds good, right?
So far, I have detailed that ComeOn gets all of the basics of sports betting right. This means that you can bet on over 30 sports, get solid odds and enjoy both prematch and live betting with a fair amount of betting markets.
While that’s good, such features are common among all decent Canadian betting sites. So here are just a few things that ComeOn is doing to take your bets to the next level:
The ComeOn sportsbook will foreground some pre-built Bet Builders for the day’s biggest sporting encounters. These are simply same game multis that offer you an even more interesting way to bet on the action. For example, one bet builder was for EPL soccer and it gave you odds of +475 for Aston Villa to beat Manchester City, both teams to score and for Aston Villa to score over 1.5 goals.
I loved the way in which the live betting odds adjusted in real-time with little red arrows when they got longer and green arrows when they got shorter. It might not sound like much but it offers you an instinctive way to see how you should be making your live bets.
This is a great feature that I wish other sportsbooks would integrate. It basically lets you click on the Stats tab next to any sporting encounter to be taken to a site hosting a massive range of statistics that you can use to base your bets on.
I used it for an NHL Playoffs game between Toronto and Ottawa and was deluged with facts regarding things like win probability, current form, streaks, last meetings, player statistics, scoring records, conceding records and a whole lot more. Perfect for making bets based on much more than just gut instinct.
It’s one thing to successfully sign up to ComeOn and it’s something else to successfully make your bets. So here are five solid tips you can use to avoid making too many rookie errors at this online sportsbook:
The ComeOn site footer has an entire section devoted to responsible gambling, and it is here that you will find some Safer Gambling Tools. These will allow you to apply limits to your deposits, spending and time you spend betting. It’s smart to apply these upon signing up to ComeOn to ensure that your betting stays under control. After all, you don’t want to have too much fun here.
It’s also smart to do plenty of research before betting on that big game. Thankfully, ComeOn features links to statistics centres that will give you all of the information you need to base your bets on. Perfect for making sure that you bet with your head rather than your heart.
It’s also great to find that ComeOn features a massive range of betting markets for each sporting event. This means that you don’t have to stick with match-winner bets every time but can mix it up by betting on things like first goalscorer, three-pointers and so on.
ComeOn also features a dynamic live betting section that offers you a great way to bet on your favourite sports. After all, you won’t be restricted to betting prematch but can keep on betting throughout to keep things interesting. Just be sure to set yourself a budget first.
I don’t think it will come as too much of a shock to hear that I was very impressed with ComeOn Ontario. The simple bet-building process will make sports fans soon feel at home.
Support is reliable and responsive around the clock, and you can deposit and withdraw freely without any fees or maximum limits attached. Should you wish, you can even take the experience away with you and visit through the dedicated app. For me, it ticks a lot of boxes, and I’m sure it will be a good match for many of you, too.
Yes. ComeOn is fully optimised and accessible through your mobile phone. You can either join by downloading the app or by visiting the mobile site.
You can bet on well over 30 sports here. They range from massive sports like hockey and basketball down to some of the most niche sports.
Provided you have met the playthrough requirements, you can soon look to withdraw from ComeOn Ontario using a range of credible methods. Currently, you won’t find any maximum withdrawal limit applied. However, those who win a jackpot may be contacted directly.
