Blogdom's Best: Hating The Bears
This image was lost some time after publication. Previously we have examined the great fan blogs of the NFL and Major League Baseball, and what an interesting journey it was. But every great story needs a strong antagonist, and to that end we now present the anti-blogs — those Web chronicles devoted to abhorrence and loathing — what the French call b te noire. Hey, we hate the French! Grrrr. So for the next few weeks, we'll attempt to sort it all out, with your help of course. What's your favorite hater blog? Let is know at [email protected].
We love the NFC North. The Packers hate the Bears. The Bears hate the Vikings. The Vikings loathe the Packers. It's the circle of life. Oh, did we mention that everyone takes turns hating the Lions? And there's also a guy who seems to really have it in for polar bears, and we're not exactly sure where he fits in to all of this. Bears hatred seems to be most prevalent in Wisconsin, where it flows into Illinois in the form of a low-pressure system, causing precipitation and a few choice Web offerings. Here are three:
