That's one way to record an out, sure. Not the most efficient way, but an out's an out and Brendan Ryan finally corralled J.D. Martinez's liner with his bare hand after it popped out of (or off) of his glove.

More importantly it gives us another glimpse of a player sheepishly grinning after an absurd play, which is always fun. This one is probably not so much aw-shucks as it is phew, I almost really boned that one.
