Butler Coach Brad Stevens Is Still Too Boyish To Look Anything But Ridiculous When Complaining To Refs
Brad Stevens has managed the inconceivable feat of taking the Butler Bulldogs to the NCAA tournament final two consecutive years. He has not, as of yet, managed to advance his appearance past that of "awkward high schooler" and it's long taken away from the credibility of his attempts to yell at anyone. (He's 35.) His screams look more goofy than threatening.
This is in no way a criticism of his coaching (which is, obviously, phenomenal) nor do we want him to stop making ridiculous faces (so we can make fun of them). Don't miss the Green Bay fan begging for Stevens to get a technical foul, one Stevens may have been trying to draw; his team ended up losing 80-68 to the Phoenix. [ESPNU]
