No One Can Stop Cam Newton From Giving His Touchdown Ball To A Panthers Fan
Cam Newton has a habit of giving touchdown balls to Carolina fans in the stands after he scores, but the Panthers quarterback had a slight hiccup in his plan in Sunday’s game against the Saints.
After throwing a touchdown pass to Ted Ginn Jr., Newton asked for the official to give him the football. Instead, the official tossed it to the ball boy, so Newton had to jog all the way over to the sideline, get the ball, and run back to the stands to complete the transaction.
So much bureaucracy in the NFL.
