Coaches Unable To Contact NFL Prospect Who Left Combine Because Of God
Former San Diego State running back Adam Muema raised eyebrows when he divulged that God had told him to leave the NFL Combine without participating. Since then, he hasn't said anything further, and Muema's friends and coaches haven't been able to get in touch with him.
Muema technically isn't a missing person, and a "close family relative" declined comment for the latest article, but he's completely fallen off the grid. From U-T San Diego:
"I have no idea where is," a person close to Muema said. "(San Diego State coaches) have been trying to track him down, too. Every time they do, his phone is off. ... It's a frustrating deal."
"It's a big mystery," said Lou Farrar, Muema's former football coach at Charter Oak High. "At this point, we just hope he's safe. As long as he's safe. That's all that really matters."
