College Baseball Player Leaps Clear Over The Wall To Make Ridiculous Game-Saving Catch
According to the video uploader, this full-extension-over-the-outfield-wall catch came in the ninth inning with two outs, one man on and Lower Columbia hanging on to a two run lead—meaning, the home run would have tied the game. Lower Columbia's left fielder goes totally horizontal to snag the no-doubter and half way down you get the feeling even he's surprised. That's Yard Abandonment we can all get behind.
Rather than a deflating tie game in the ninth inning, the game ended in spectacular fashion. It's pretty hard to come up with a more satisfying feeling than a walk-off home run, but this is pretty close. [ Jimmy Traina]
