Email question: Can we get Butterball turkey to guarantee Fat Andy a turkey for every win, since that tub is obviously only motivated by food and sleep? Didn't the turkey taste just a little sweeter this year? I cannot put my finger on why exactly, but I think it has something to do with being in a World Championship City or one of its surrounding suburbs.
See you at Kildare's.
We talking 'bout Thanksgiving — Tom Meehan
Tom, I don't like your attitude. Last night was a predictable win for the Philadelphia Eagles and I'm still not 100% convinced that they won't run the table, sneak into the playoffs, and leave us with another off-season of debate about Andy Reid/Donovan McNabb's worthiness. Last nights' victory was joyous, indeed, if only for the fact that it rattled the confidence of a certain floppy-haired Midwesterner about his beloved Buzzsaw even more. But, hey, NFC West champions. Congrats.
And, yes — I soaked my turkey in about a pound of World Fucking Champion gravy.
