Tupac T-Shirted UNLV Fan Overly Excited About Running Rebel Upset Of #1 North Carolina
In a performance that would have left Jerry Tarkanian chomping a towel with pride, UNLV's Runnin' Rebels downed top-ranked North Carolina 90-80 Saturday night in the final of the Las Vegas Invitational at the Orleans Hotel & Casino. Officially a neutral-court win—despite the Orleans being about three miles down Tropicana Avenue from UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center—the upset sparked the first major court-storming of this young college basketball season.
Some fans couldn't wait to start celebrating, though, like the gentleman in the above video, clad in a t-shirt emblazoned with this iconic image of the late rapper Tupac Shakur flipping the bird. Sadly, it looks like he missed out on the postgame celebration after being ejected from the arena by what appears to be a blackjack dealer. [ESPN2]
