Fan Tries To Catch Home Run With Beer; Fan With Glove Gets It Instead
Turns out, it's easier to catch a ball with a glove than a plastic cup full of Bud Light. Still, I've watched this and the video a whole lot, and I can't figure how it happened.
Carlos Santana hit it over the fence in left, his third in four games and fourth of the season, in the bottom of the second inning last night and somehow the guy double-fisting beers got only a wet shirt, instead of a wet shirt and a home run ball.
What's great about the whole thing is the immediate contrast between these two guys. Both of them smile, but the loser is left looking around incredulously, while the other guy just walks past him with a devilish smirk, prize held high.
