Goth Bear Is Ready For Halloween

Thanks to an exclusive photo shared with us by a friendly reader, we’re dusting off the old Bear Friday feature on this Wednesday afternoon to bring you the story of a suitably spooky bear encounter.

Our tipster tells us that this death-obsessed bear was spotted in Riverside Cemetery in Asheville, N.C., near the graves of Thomas Wolfe and O. Henry. Does his appearance portend a great waking of spirits of both man and beast alike? Will this night bring a reckoning from which the corporeal world will never recover?
