Happy Valentine's Day, You Poor Bastard (Veracity Update)

To some people, proposing on the big screen at a hockey game is the most romantic idea imaginable. Not to the woman who stormed out after being popped the question at the Rangers game today.

UPDATE: Things like this are usually to good to be true. To that end, we just received this note. We report, you decide.

I used to work for the Knicks and Rangers. I have a friend who does the camera work for Rangers commercial spots. The proposal was a complete HOAX. It was a set-up and completely fake. It had the entire crowd going, but unfortunately were 2 actors who were put up to it.
