Hawks C N'Faly Dante out for season with torn ACL

Atlanta Hawks center N'Faly Dante will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee, the team announced on Tuesday.

Dante sustained the injury last Friday while playing for the College Park Skyhawks in the NBA G League Winter Showcase in Orlando, Fla.


Dante, 24, will undergo surgery in January.

The 6-foot-11 Dante played in four games for Atlanta this season, averaging 3.8 minutes, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 points.

Undrafted out of Kansas in 2024, he played in four games for the Houston Rockets in 2024-25 and averaged 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 12.8 minutes.
